on, relatively speaking, a more positive note, ‘it all’ might help alot to unify the people of sri lanka, where a large portion of the island has been pretty much quarantined from press and int’l aid because of tension between rebels and the gov’t thing .. so yea that’s a good thing

kind of anxious to get home , you know with the whole four days of free house ; yea, it’ll be quite great … most of the people here i’ve met are pretty decent … alot seem pretty annoying but i’ve done a pretty good job avoiding them … anyways thought the weather is definitely nice ; got the chance to upload some pics but various constraints existed but when i get back and alive things will change …
i like the whole no obligations thing, like in France my only obligations are my own fault and usually a good good thing hehe … lots of other foreigners here soaking in the warmth
the sea lounge at the taj is really nice and has a damn cool view over a harbour of some sort .. pics didn’t turn out quite as nice as they could have but they weren’t too bad … also got some around the city, some good most not so good .. will upload later on ; don’t have the time or the bandwidth to do that now … anyways yea surprisingly many people of the right age, language and sex; relatively chill folk at that, a good thing … a while ago i sort of realized how annoying some people can be anyways yea all is pretty well

visiting pune (pronounced poo-neh or poo-nah not puy-nee) for a bit, not many people that i know here that i feel like meeting .. altho the weather is good and we’ve got a real nice place here so i’m pretty comfortable just chilling out with the musica and this really cool book i found (Liar’s Poker) … its by michael lewis, i’ve read his other book and really liked it, he’s really good interesting stuff although i never knew that he worked on Wall Street it’s definitely a good book … at the oberoi in mumbai i didn’t have any time to read it, was really happy with the people i met there definitely fun stuff , was concerned there would be too many annoying rich indian families but i lucked out and most were interested european tourists with folk of the right age and matching interests and the like, stuff was fun there … here it’s more chilled out, both definitely enjoyable though different, needed some time to chill out between bombay and the free house ; gonna be good by the way
something about it, its relatively soothing
i mean its a very nice place, the swimming pool on the roof of the five star hotel, however, you can still hear the muted bustle of the city numerous floors bellow car horns repeatedly argue with eachother, but up here its pretty great, got beer, great sun, very very nice pool … its kind of like the noise is a constant reminder of how secluded we are, don’t quite know if that’s a good thing or not … the varying hum of numerous neighboring buildings’ air conditioning systems, all of this oddly calming .. don’t quite know its really quite odd
met a person today, pretty chill … indian kids are usually annoying, fortunately at the hotel there are a lot of foreigners, she was iranian i think anyways yea we’ll figure things out tonight … the thing about the swimming pool i don’t quite know it was pretty strange, resulted in some heavy duty reflection you know that stuff yea but a few minutes later another beer came and soon after a person; people are pretty fun like that, kind of like another person alone.

Instead of As The World Turns? I mean what do you got for me? I want something for that.
TV Anchorman: Sonny, you could give up?
Sonny: Give up? Right. Have you ever been in prison?
TV Anchorman: No!

i remember seeing it a while back … it was a really well done film ; i was looking it up earlier because that quote from swordfish where travolta is talking about it with the fbi guy well it came up on random in iTunes and i listened through it so then i looked this up and remembered and yea just thought i’d share .. anyways personal project is still going not too happily
k well for the record i officially enjoy my dreams … last night was i was in mr vaughan office, with mr vaughan don’t quite know why exactly, gareth is making tea when all of a sudden matthew flies through the window lands on the floor next to my feet and then all is silent for a short while, he twitches and squirms for a sec and then suddenly starts making loud noises and runs out of the office; anyways so gareth says ‘i need a drink’ and takes out a large bottle of black label whiskey pours it into an old fashioned glass [again it was my fijian ones with the blue stripe] which just happens to be sitting on his desk and offers me a glass as well .. we toast to the good old days, wow it was really great so he and i go through numerous glasses while discussing the good days of last year with tictactoe during erbs with adrien and other stuff with gaelan, we have ourselves a good laugh and by this time a fireplace has appeared somewhere in the room and the chairs are now huge leather lounge chairs and his desk is a low coffee table; i notice adrien has just show out of nowhere and is/hasbeen sitting on the sofa with me and he’s laughing about the erb thing now we discuss all of this crap but all in good humor and taste, its kind of like that night at brent’s house really .. i seem to remember a lot of toasting and a lot of different things that i’ve discussed with different people before. before long the bottle of black label was well gone so gareth broke out the canadian beer again, no bear showed this time a shame cause he was a lot of fun last time, but it was labatt bleu .. vaughan mentioned the bear from last time and everyone laughed. mr vaughan brought up the personal project and asked how the both of us were coming along in a humorous manner, adrien and i looked at each other grinned then looked at mr vaughan grinning and then he started laughing out loud, having put his drink down,’i should have known, well it’ll be a long weekend for you two’ .. we all laughed some, i dunno it was good …
then a bell rings and its pitch dark outside and he says that we should do this another time, adrien and i nod, adrien give a final toast, and we leave then i trip on the narrow staircase up to his office and wake up .. crazy shit
… i dunno the whole thing seemed funny at the time now it just sounds bizarre, well thanks for reading all
anyways i’ve got to finish of the personalproj today and write the statement and bullshit some more in the journal
yea its mine … i liked it , came up while i was looking through the photos for the paper ..
added that flickr flash thing on the left bar its just gonna show some pics it seemed cool so i figured i’d put it in, if it gets annoying anyone i’ll get rid of it … it just seemed like fun and worth trying
