well sometime back i saw a little something at the not for profit starbucks in georgetown (the only starbucks that i frequent) about ethos water and it is quite genius ; they sell bottled water (a profitable product) to the wealthiest 5% of the world (those responsible for 95% of the world’s wealth) and pass the profits directly towards clean drinking water projects in the developing world. i don’t know if it’s just me but things like this where by which cash is tunneled directly to the poor from the wealthy are fantastic ; you know how the whole System(tm) is all about efficiently pushing all the money of the world into a few concentrated corners, well charitable things like this really act almost as wormholes (especially that fiji water stuff because it’s generated a real strong image as a super-premium water). well i’ve been meaning to post about ethos for a week now , unfortunately the stuff isn’t around on the east coast although it’s got some sponsorship dealings with starbucks.
in other, contrasting news my rebel xt just missed the friday mail drop but it should be here mid-week if all goes to plan .. yea it’s pretty great
also the free movie night that michael pre-launched for me [asshole] is a real possibility why don’t you guys vote on some grand premiere flicks and we’ll think up something .. also check out the tribeca short film festival hosted at amazon.com some interesting shorts well worth seeing (that’s what’s great about shorts they require little time investment)
also anyone who has anything to do with 96postal should reach me somehow or another sometime relatively soon because i’d like to get this stuffs together.

apologizes for prelaunch. i dont think anyone read that post anyways. im out-of-the-country for a week, but i can do some 96postal stuff when i get back. what kind of movies are you thinking of doing? ive got a bunch i want to see, categorized (hollywood, indy, lowbudget, really low budget), which i’ll send you if your looking for suggestions. also, glad to hear about the rebel xt. i ended up getting a new Nikon N80 because the minolta was broken, but its fixed so i just got it (basically).
